Annual School Fees and Levies

Fees are charged on a per student basis with discounted rates applicable to families with more than one child attending the College. There are no family discounts applicable to composite levies, subject levies or camp fees. This is the basic charge applied to cover education costs and it supplements the shortfall in the student funding that is received from Government Grants.

PAYMENT PLAN FORM

CSEF

Parents of students under 16 years of age and who hold a Pensioner/Health Care Card, may be entitled to claim for CSEF. Application forms will be available from the College at the start of each year. The full allowance is offset against tuition fees. Parents/Guardians who hold a current Veterans Affairs Gold Card, Centrelink Health Care Card (HCC) or Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) should complete the CSEF form for the funding of $400 per student per year. Applications close at the end of Term 2 June 26th, 2026.

Note: CSEF Funding will be deducted from your account if eligible. For new or newly eligible families, both the CSEF form and Health Care Card must be provided.

CSEF APPLICATION

Special Circumstances

A variation to the level of fees payable may be available to parents in cases of extreme financial hardship. Parents will be required to provide financial information. All applications are reviewed by the College.

Application Fee Kolbe College

The submission of the Enrolment Application Form, for all applications received is to be accompanied by a non-refundable Enrolment Application Fee of $100.00.

Enrolment Acceptance Fee Kolbe College

To confirm acceptance of an offer for a place at Kolbe Catholic College, an Enrolment Acceptance Fee of $600 is required this will be applied against the first year’s Tuition Fees. The total acceptance fee is non-refundable should the enrolment subsequently be withdrawn.

CAPITAL LEVY: $230 per family

The College requires all families to pay a compulsory School Capital Levy of $230 per annum. This fee is NOT tax deductible. This levy provides funds for ongoing capital development works, new buildings, equipment purchases, and also assists in financing the borrowings used to pay for new facilities.

ITC LEVY

Payable in Year 7,8,9 as three instalments as per Schedule of Fees. If a student exits the College in Year 7, 8 or 9, the MacBook must be returned to the College and will remain the property of the school. If a child commences at Kolbe in Year 10-12, the student must BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) as per the school’s ITC minimum specification requirements.

CURRICULUM LEVY FOR OTHER INCIDENTALS: $1,065

This covers the cost of the following items supplied to all students:

  • The Academic Assessment Testing for new students
  • Equipment, consumable materials and other resources supplied for all subjects
  • Library resources and reference materials
  • Single, day excursions including bus and entry fees
  • Camps
  • Competitions or similar activities
  • Student Diary and the annual College Magazine
  • Locker hire; provision of a combination lock
  • A student identification card
  • Internet/printing allocation

ADDITIONAL LEVIES & CHARGES

The following items are payable in addition to tuition fees:

  • Items that are listed on the Curriculum Booklist
  • Specific Subject/Elective Levies (these will be advised separately)
  • Optional Instrumental Program
  • College Uniform and other sports uniform/equipment items e.g. for SACCSS competition
  • Photocopy costs
  • Printing and Internet costs in excess of amounts listed above

NB. The students of families who receive fee assistance or who have arrears with their current school fees are not permitted to participate in optional or non-compulsory camps, trips or programs.

Payment Terms and Conditions Kolbe College

The annual tuition fees and levies may be paid by one of the following options:

  • Paid in full by 20 March 2026 $350 discount
  • By equal monthly (15th of each month), fortnightly, weekly instalments direct debit or credit card (Thursday or Friday schedule)
  • Request for a special arrangement. Interview with the Finance Manager required.

All 2026 fees are due to be paid no later than 27 November 2026.

Family Sibling Discounts Kolbe College

Families with more than one student enrolled at Kolbe Catholic College in any one year will receive the following reduction applied to the Annual Tuition Fee component:

  • 15% discount for second child
  • 40% discount for third child
  • 100% discount for any further child

There are no family discounts applicable to composite levies, subject levies or camp fees.

Refund of Tuition Fees and Levies Kolbe College

In the event of a student withdrawing from the College during the year, there may be an entitlement to a partial refund or fee rebate in accordance with the following:

  • If withdrawal occurs during Term 1 – 25 % of the annual tuition fee is payable
  • If withdrawal occurs during Term 2 – 50% of the annual tuition fee is payable
  • If withdrawal occurs during Term 3 – 75% of the annual tuition fee is payable

Notification of withdrawal must be sent to the College in writing. Fee refunds / rebates will only be calculated once all required documentation has been provided to the College. There will be no remission or refund available for Subject/Course levies.
